If you have ever tried to search the Internet for a good lesson or project for your class,
you have probably become frustrated with the huge volume of materials available at a variety
of quality levels. Finding good web-based lessons usually takes a large investment of
time and energy. We have done work for you by collecting and categorizing
a variety of quality lessons, units, projects, and resources related to Earth and space
science.
Educator Guides 
The Educator Guides section also contains a selection of NASA educator guides, and units
from the Civil Air Patrol.
Lesson Database 
The lesson database contains Earth and space science lessons that take approximately 1 - 2
class periods. You can search for lessons by grade level and topic or by grade level and
specific standards. Currently, your search can be either National or Illinois content
standards for science.
Space Explorers Portal
The Space Explorers Portal is a school-wide program that brings three exciting
Internet-based programs into all of the classroms in your school.
These programs focus on improving math, science, and technology concepts, covering grades
K-12. These programs have been run in over 2,000 schools worldwide with great success and
absolutely astonishing results.
